Model: MC-V7720 Product Description

Panasonic has long been a worldwide leader in innovative technology. While best known perhaps for televisions and cameras, Panasonic now brings its technological savvy to the world of household cleaning with this bagless upright vacuum. The lightweight 12-amp vacuum employs infrared sensors to detect a surface's dirtiness. The vacuum then adjusts its power output with its Power on Demand system. Therefore, the vacuum conserves power by running on low or medium for slightly dirty hard floors and carpets, saving high power operation for serious soiling. The HEPA exhaust filter assists in cleansing the air of dust mites, ragweed, and most grass pollen for a breathable indoor environment.

A helpful headlight illuminates soiled patches for the 15-inch nozzle while the vacuum automatically alters its cleaning height for the surface in question, be it a shaggy rug or linoleum. The agitation from a dual brush system uproots dirt from the plushest carpet, but may be turned off to prevent scratching when using the vacuum on hard floors. The Power on Demand system can be turned off for manual use, should the user wish to run the vacuum on low for quieter cleaning. The vacuum addresses dusty baseboards with dual edge cleaning. Dirt bypasses the motor and fan, ensuring a longer motor life and preventing debris from blowing back into the room. Dirt collects in a two-piece dust cup that easily removes. An assortment of QuickDraw 2 on-board tools is holstered on the vacuum's side. A crevice tool, air turbine, floor brush, a dusting brush, and a stretchy hose are included for 17 feet of extra reach. The handle telescopes and removes for storage. The vacuum cord spans 30 feet. This vacuum is covered by a limited one-year warranty. The vacuum measures 15-1/4 by 19 by 45-1/2 inches and weighs 18 pounds. --Jessica Reuling

Panasonic MC-V7720 Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner has Manual and Automatic Variable Power selection to help tackle virtually any situation. Wall-to-wall carpet and hardwood floors may require maximum cleaning power but area rugs may require less power (otherwise they'd be sucked off the floor). That's a significant feature with this compact upright cleaner. Bagless with HEPA media filter, it's extremely easy and convenient to use. The Panasonic MC-V7720 bagless vacuum cleaner features a three way cleaning system and offers power on demand. This means its suction power can adjust its suction power based on how dirty the surface actually is.

Consequently, it is an energy efficient product which also improves cleaning efficiency because of its flexibility.

It also features HEPA technology, a headlight, edge cleaning, telescopic wand and dirt indicator.

The suction is excellent for pet hair and the fact that the head is flush with the floor makes it very maneuverable so that it can easily get under low set chairs and other furniture pieces.

A potential downside of this model is that it is heavy compared to other models and the filter can take a bit of time to clean.

The MC-V7720 is a Residential vacuum designed for use in the Residential environment. I have reviewed it accordingly, the price point of the MC-V7720 is set for the Residential industry which should be taken into consideration when purchasing or thinking about purchasing this vacuum. Commercial vacuum cleaners may be built to last longer and endure more abuse, but are more expensive and may be lacking some of the luxuries (such as light weight, or low noise) that you are accustomed to. On the contrary Residential vacuums are made at lower price points, lower quality, but are often lighter and quieter to use. Please feel free to add your own perspective of the Panasonic MC-V7720 bagless vacuum cleaner review.
