My review and perspective on model: 66T61 vacuum cleaner

This is the Bissell OptiClean Bagless Cyclonic Canister Vacuum Cleaner Review - 66T61 please check the reviews page for a comparison of other vacuum cleaners.

I usually have a fairly good appreciation for Bissell products, unfortunately I can not say so in this case. The Bissell OptiClean Cyclonic Canister Vacuum gimmick filled hunk of junk. They have given you a beautifully clear plastic dirt cup... yeah, it won't stay perfectly clear or clean for long, you will be filling it wither dirt after all. The clear door on the backside that holds your attachments often gets broken off, it is a hard brittle plastic barely held in place it's not hard to do by accident. The motor on this machine is fairly under sized to make room for its multiple filters. The multiple filtration system makes for a very quiet vacuuming time, but with an already underpowered engine, the stress of going through two HEPA filters you will be reduced to nearly nothing for suction. In this price range the best advice I can give you is to spend the little bit extra and get yourself an Oreck Quest Canister Vacuum which is my number one rated canister vacuum cleaner in this price range.

The 66T61 is a Residential vacuum designed for use in the Residential environment. I have reviewed it accordingly, the price point of the 66T61 is set for the Residential industry which should be taken into consideration when purchasing or thinking about purchasing this vacuum. Commercial vacuum cleaners may be built to last longer and endure more abuse, but are more expensive and may be lacking some of the luxuries (such as light weight, or low noise) that you are accustomed to. On the contrary Residential vacuums are made at lower price points, lower quality, but are often lighter and quieter to use. Please feel free to add your own perspective of the Bissell OptiClean Bagless Cyclonic Canister Vacuum Cleaner Review - 66T61.
